Over the past five years, and with your help, Bloktoberfest has been able to have a lasting impact on the South of South Neighborhood and Philadelphia as a whole by effectively raising over $130,000 in beer proceeds to various charitable causes.
For 2015, we’re continuing this tradition of service by committing our beer proceeds to initiatives that address education, green space, public safety and community development for the neighborhood that so generously hosts our festival. Organizations with projects that address these issues are encouraged to apply for grant funding from Bloktoberfest.
We’re proud to run an event that both celebrates and gives back to the community. We think you’ll agree that it makes the beer taste even better.
